About the Friends of The Wallace Center

The Friends of The Wallace Center, Inc. is a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting the growth, vitality, and future of the Wallace Center in Greenwich, CT. Since 2010, we’ve been committed to ensuring older adults in our community have access to exceptional programs and facilities that enrich their lives.

Our Mission

Our mission is to enhance the lives of Greenwich’s older adults by funding capital improvements, enriching programming, and building lasting community support for the Wallace Center.

Our History

Formed in 2010 as Friends of the Greenwich Senior Center, Inc., we became Friends of The Wallace Center to reflect our ongoing commitment to the Center’s growth and modernization. We are a registered nonprofit under Connecticut state law.

Governance

The Friends of The Wallace Center is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and Executive Committee who bring expertise, oversight, and a shared dedication to improving the lives of older adults in Greenwich.
