A Transformative Renovation for a Beloved Community Hub

The Wallace Center has served generations of Greenwich residents as a place for learning, fellowship and support. To ensure the space continues to meet the needs of our community, a comprehensive renovation project is now underway. This renovation will enhance accessibility, comfort and functionality — creating a welcoming environment for all who walk through our doors.

Thoughtfully Planned, Community-Focused Design

Working in partnership with QA+M Architecture, the renovation plans include a refreshed layout, upgraded amenities and warm, inviting interiors designed to support programming, activities and gatherings that enrich daily life at the Wallace Center.

Key improvements will include:
   •    Updated layout plans designed for comfort and accessibility
   •    Multi-purpose activity rooms
   •    A modern lobby and reception area
   •    Improved lighting, flooring and interior finishes​

   •    A new member lounge for socialization and resources

Warm, Modern and Inviting Interior Finishes

From flooring and wall textures to lighting and furniture, every interior element was selected to create a space that feels comfortable, uplifting and timeless. The material palette includes warm wood tones, textured carpeting, acoustical features for sound comfort, durable slip resistant tile and calming neutral colors.
