Alessandra Maria Messineo Long, Esq.

Board Member

Alessandra is currently the Founder and Principal at her own firm, Law Offices of Alessandra M. Messineo Long, LLC. Alessandra practices in the areas of wills, trusts and estates, trust & estate administration and probate, business succession planning, business law, business and corporate contracts and non-profit organizations. Ms. Messineo Long regularly advises individuals, families and business owners on developing their documents and protecting themselves, including wills, revocable living trusts, insurance trusts and business succession plans. She also helps guide fiduciaries and beneficiaries through the probate and trust and estate administration process. She guides small business owners through their formation process, initial contract stage and advises them as they proceed to grow. Ms. Messineo Long also drafts and negotiates contracts for corporate clients. Alessandra has been Corporate Counsel in the litigation and regulatory departments at Sempra Energy and Long Island Lighting Company and has been an associate at two NYC law firms.


Alessandra graduated Cum Laude with an Associate’s in Applied Science degree in Fashion Buying and Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology. After a study abroad in Florence, Italy where she studied International Business and Art History, she went on to receive a Bachelor’s in Applied Science degree from New York University Stern School of Business graduating with a double major in International Business and Marketing. Alessandra proceeded to earn her Juris Doctorate degree from St. John's University School of Law, and is licensed to practice law in New York, California, The District of Columbia and Connecticut.


She is also currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Metro New York North Red Cross Chapter as Nominating Chair, Board of Directors of the Old Timers Athletic Association of Greenwich as First Vice President and Donations Chair. Alessandra joined the Junior League of Greenwich (“JLG”) in 2004 wherein she served in several Board Positions culminating with her position as President for 2015-16 and currently is a sustaining member. She has also served on the Board of Directors for the Dispute Settlement Center as both Secretary and Fundraising Director for many years.


She is married and a mother of three.
