Lori Ann Contadino, MS, CDP

Ex-Officio Friends of the Wallace Center, Executive Director Commission on Aging

Lori Contadino, MS, CDP is the Executive Director of the Greenwich Commission on Aging and Wallace Center and is the Town’s appointed Municipal Agent for the Elderly.  Since January 2013, she has been responsible for identifying and responding to needs of older persons; formulating plans and setting priorities for new and improved services; providing assistance to older adults through advocacy and community outreach efforts as well as overseeing the management of the Wallce Center (formerly known as Greenwich Senior Center).  She holds a Master of Science Degree with distinction in Gerontology (Education/Administration and Counseling), certification in Thanatology, certification in Case Management from Boston University Graduate School of Social work and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner.  


Lori championed the Age & Dementia Friendly Greenwich initiative resulting in the Town being the first dually designated community in the State of Connecticut to receive this prestigious designation by AARP, WHO and DFA. She has worked in the field of Geriatrics for the past 41 years and has assisted older adults and their care partners in diverse care settings ranging from community-based services through acute and long-term care environments.  She is a certified Health Insurance Counselor through the State of Connecticut CHOICES program and is currently leading the Wallace Center renovation project and is serving on various Advisory Boards, Councils and Committees throughout Town.  She is a frequent guest speaker for community groups and professional organizations.  


She resides in Old Greenwich with her husband, three daughters and dog Dollie.
